I am pleased to invite you to the launch of the maiden issue of the Bank Group’s report on Africa’s Macro-Economic Performance and Outlook (MEO) 2023. The launch event will take place at the Bank’s Headquaters in Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire (CCIA Building) on 19th of January 2023, from 10:00 – 12:00 hours GMT.

Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group will be joined by Ms. Niale Kaba, Minister of Planning and Development of Côte d'Ivoire; ED Zayed Ahmed, Dean, Board of Directors, African Development Bank Group; Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, Economist, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, USA, and several leading experts at the launch event. Dr. Victor Oladokun will be the event Moderator.

Event Format: The launch event will be hosted in a hybrid form. There will be a physical convening in Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire hosted by the African Development Bank Group for invited participants in Cote d’Ivoire. All other participants will be connected virtually via the zoom link provided below. All participants from the public and private sectors, academia, civil society, youths, and women are encouraged to register for the event.
